We are looking for Android interns (12 or 16 weeks) who are excited to be part of our story and help us build a diverse and vibrant tech community. We hire engineers with a broad set of technical skills, who are highly cross-functional, and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys owning projects from inception to scaling them in production. You'll be working with a nimble team of committed and talented engineers and having a large, long-term impact on technical design and engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new features for Ramp’s Android app
• Work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to our mobile codebase
• Collaborate with Product and Design to bring new features and experiences to life
• Learn from customer feedback and help continuously improve our product
• Contribute to engineering tools and processes that help the team move quickly and scale

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating December 2027 or later
• Experience with Kotlin and/or Android development through internships, coursework, or personal projects
• Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of mobile development concepts
• Experience building a mobile app, feature, or relevant project
• Ability to turn product ideas into thoughtful engineering solutions
• Desire to learn quickly, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Familiarity with mobile design patterns and best practices
• Experience shipping an Android app or feature to real users
