- The Program Director provides collaborative leadership to faculty within the discipline(s) of a given instructional Department and serves as the liaison between department faculty and college staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides collaborative leadership to faculty within the discipline(s) of a given instructional Department
- Serves as the liaison between department faculty and college staff
Requirements
- Understanding of educational environments including needs of adult learners
- Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment
- Knowledge and understanding of professional career paths for which students are enrolled
- Motivation, dedication and enthusiasm for teaching
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject area required, Master’s Degree in a related subject preferred, from an accredited college
- At least four (4) years of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- RDMS Certification required in Abdomen and OB - must be in good standing
