• Affinity Group Canada is seeking an experienced Non-Commercial & Healthcare Account Manager to join our sales team. This role is responsible for developing and growing assigned operator accounts, building trusted relationships with decision-makers and culinary teams, and executing customized sales strategies that deliver measurable results. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of the non-commercial and healthcare foodservice sectors, including tenders and RFPs, menu planning, product applications, cost structures, and operator requirements. This is a field-focused role supporting non-commercial and healthcare accounts throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding market, requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Management
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of priority and assigned accounts through consistent in-person sales calls and follow-up.
• Build a detailed understanding of menu rotations, customer demographics, operational trends, desired cost structures, and product needs within assigned accounts.
• identify opportunities to penetrate new categories, convert products, expand menu applications, and grow account value.
• Maintain current customer profiles and act as a knowledgeable resource and solution provider.
• Sales Execution & Product Expertise
• Plan and execute customized sales strategies for assigned non-commercial and healthcare operator accounts.
• Conduct product education, training, demonstrations, and menu-application discussions with customers.
• Prepare food products and recommend menu combinations to support the sales process.
• Ensure ongoing client and customer product knowledge and respond promptly to product questions or complaints.
• Achieve assigned sales projections and targets.
• Market, Distributor & Team Collaboration
• Participate in vendor fairs, food shows, industry trade events, and manufacturer or distributor training sessions.
• Work closely with the broader sales team to share go-to-market strategies, competitive intelligence, successes, and challenges.
• Provide field insights that support client strategies and stronger market execution.
• Use the CRM system consistently to record sales-call activity, customer updates, opportunities, and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate, current account information and complete required call reporting on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Build strong customer, distributor, client, and internal relationships.
• Develop and execute account-specific sales plans aligned with client priorities and customer needs.
• Deliver or exceed established sales projections, targets, and account-growth objectives.
• Maintain a consistent and professional field presence.
• Demonstrate exceptional organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Represent Affinity Group Canada professionally at customer meetings, training sessions, food shows, and industry events.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of foodservice experience within the non-commercial and healthcare sectors.
• Experience working with tenders and requests for proposal (RFPs).
• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and credibility-building skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking capabilities.
• Positive, professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable access to a vehicle, and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
