Job description

• We’re looking for an Account Manager to join Digitas Singapore and play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering integrated marketing, digital experience and platform work.
• Working closely with the Associate Account Director, the Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of client accounts, keeping projects moving, ensuring teams are aligned, managing client expectations and maintaining a strong standard of delivery.
• This is a role for someone who is comfortable taking ownership. You’ll need to understand both the detail of what is being delivered and the bigger picture of what the client is trying to achieve, bringing together strategy, creative, experience, CRM, data, technology and other specialist teams where required.

Responsibilities

• Client Management
• Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients, building strong, trusted working relationships across different stakeholder levels.
• Understand the client’s business, marketing priorities, customers and challenges, not just individual project requirements.
• Lead regular client meetings, status updates, workshops and project discussions with confidence.
• Manage expectations proactively, raising risks, dependencies or issues early rather than waiting for them to become problems.
• Translate client feedback, business needs and technical considerations into clear actions for internal teams.
• Account & Project Leadership
• Own the day-to-day management of multiple projects and workstreams from briefing and planning through to delivery, launch and optimisation.
• Develop clear briefs, timelines, status reports, delivery plans, meeting notes and project documentation.
• Coordinate across strategy, creative, CRM, data, technology, production and specialist partners to keep work moving.
• Support the delivery of integrated campaigns, websites, digital platforms, customer experience and transformation programmes.
• Coordinate platform enhancements, release planning, content updates, testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and post-launch optimisation where required.
• Support business-as-usual operations and continuous improvement initiatives across client platforms and portfolios.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate, on brief, on time and presented to a high standard.
• Anticipate dependencies, bottlenecks and potential delivery risks, and work with the wider team to resolve them.
• Maintain visibility across account priorities and ensure actions, decisions and approvals are properly documented and followed through.
• Support regional and multi-market programmes, coordinating stakeholders, localisation requirements, external partners and delivery across markets where applicable.
• Strategic, Creative & Performance Contribution
• Build a strong understanding of the client’s customers, category, competitive environment and broader business objectives.
• Contribute to briefs and discussions by bringing a clear client, customer and commercial perspective.
• Work closely with strategy and creative teams to ensure recommendations answer the underlying business challenge.
• Support the development of presentations, proposals, roadmaps and integrated client recommendations.
• Challenge work constructively where it does not fully address the brief, customer need or client objective.
• Support measurement, reporting and performance review processes, and contribute to optimisation recommendations.
• Help connect digital platforms, content, creative, media, CRM and customer experience across integrated marketing initiatives.
• Commercial Management
• Support the Associate Account Director in managing scopes, budgets, estimates, resourcing and commercial requirements.
• Track project spend and identify potential scope changes, budget pressures or commercial risks early.
• Ensure additional client requests are assessed against agreed scope before work is committed.
• Support forecasting, invoicing, purchase order tracking and other account financial processes.
• Support proposal development, solutioning, business cases, pitch responses and client presentations for existing and prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and expand the work Digitas delivers.
• Team Leadership & Ways of Working
• Provide direction, coaching and support to junior account team members and interns where applicable.
• Delegate effectively while remaining accountable for the quality and completeness of the overall output.
• Help create clear governance, roles, responsibilities and ways of working across multidisciplinary teams.
• Facilitate alignment between specialist disciplines, client teams and external partners to support delivery excellence.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, governance processes, documentation and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to a collaborative, respectful and high-performing team culture through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.
• Vendor & Partner Management
• Coordinate with external vendors, technology partners, production teams and localisation partners as required.
• Ensure partner deliverables, timelines, dependencies and quality expectations are clearly defined and actively managed.
• Escalate delivery or commercial concerns early and support the team in resolving them.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of agency, consultancy or relevant client-side experience , with experience managing integrated marketing, digital, CRM, customer experience, creative or platform projects.
• Strong client-facing skills and the confidence to independently manage day-to-day client conversations and present work clearly.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build clear and compelling briefs, status updates and presentations.
• Commercial awareness and practical experience working with scopes, budgets, estimates, resourcing and change requests.
• Comfortable working across different disciplines and coordinating teams with different areas of expertise.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to spot what needs to happen next and take ownership of making it happen.
• Good judgement under pressure and the confidence to escalate when required.
• Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader client objective.
