Job description

• Zinda Law Group, a rapidly growing and prestigious personal injury law firm, is looking for an enthusiastic Recruiter to join our People Team. In this fast-paced role, you will partner closely with hiring managers to recruit top attorney talent while also supporting the hiring of key non-attorney positions. You will play a critical role in ensuring our firm attracts, hires, and retains the best legal and professional talent, helping us continue to grow our dynamic team.
• This position is based out of our Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for attorney positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Support recruiting efforts for select non-attorney roles as needed.
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications for legal and professional staff positions.
• Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, law school portals, professional organizations, and other channels.
• Proactively source attorney candidates through various methods, including direct outreach, networking, social media, referrals, job fairs, and law school events.
• Conduct interviews using a variety of reliable recruiting and selection methods to efficiently identify top candidates within established timelines (SLAs).
• Assess applicants’ legal knowledge, skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Provide hiring managers with regular updates and well-documented recruiting reports.
• Build and maintain a strong attorney talent pipeline for current and future needs.
• Stay informed of market trends, best practices, and innovative strategies in attorney recruiting.
• Support employer branding efforts to enhance Zinda Law Group’s visibility and attractiveness to top legal talent.
• Other duties as assigned to help drive the firm’s vision, fulfill our mission, and align with our values.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of proven work experience as a Recruiter; legal recruiting experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, behavioral, panel interviews, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with sourcing, screening, and selection processes.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to work within structured processes and systems.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and candidate management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Confident decision-making skills and a commitment to providing an outstanding candidate experience.
• Passion for legal recruiting and a desire to help build a high-performing, mission-driven team.
