• As a Product Marketing Manager for Origami Risk’s Insurance solutions, you will serve as a strategic partner to Product and Sales, responsible for translating product capabilities into differentiated value that resonates with insurance buyers and drives revenue growth. You will own product marketing for assigned solutions and market opportunities while partnering across the Insurance portfolio to ensure a cohesive market strategy and story.
• You will develop deep expertise in the insurance market, our buyers, competitors, and products, using that knowledge to inform go-to-market strategy, identify product and market opportunities, and shape how Origami competes. You will own commercial go-to-market strategy for assigned products and capabilities, develop clear positioning and messaging rooted in market insights, and ensure sellers are equipped with the market context and resources they need to engage buyers and win.
• You will also inform broader Marketing strategy by providing messaging frameworks and product and market expertise that serve as the foundation for campaigns, events, content, analyst relations, and other market-facing initiatives. With fluency in the SaaS development lifecycle and complex B2B sales processes, you will connect what we build to how it’s sold, helping drive product-level bookings, competitive wins, deal progression, client expansion, and product adoption.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of our markets and buyers across the P&C insurance ecosystem by conducting market research and gathering insights, including market trends and pressures, buyer needs and pain points, competitive alternatives, purchase motivators, and how buyers discover, evaluate, and select insurance technology. Synthesize and socialize those insights across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Success.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Product, developing a deep understanding of what is being built and why. Translate product capabilities into differentiated messaging, value propositions, positioning, and differentiators for insurance buyers, while bringing market, customer, competitive, and commercial perspective into product strategy and roadmap discussions.
• Own the commercial GTM strategy for assigned Insurance products and capabilities, collaborating across Product Marketing and with Product and Sales to align market strategy, positioning, launch, and sales readiness, with a focus on product-level bookings, competitive performance, deal progression, client expansion, and product adoption.
• With input from Product and Sales, identify and prioritize target markets, segments, buyer audiences, and market opportunities based on market potential, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and Origami’s ability to win. Develop recommendations and business cases that support expansion within existing markets or entry into new ones.
• Conduct, synthesize, and socialize win/loss analysis, buyer feedback, market shifts, and competitive intelligence to identify patterns and implications for positioning, Product and roadmap decisions, Sales strategy, and emerging market opportunities.
• Partner closely with Sales to understand deal dynamics, buyer objections, competitive pressures, and field needs, translating those insights into positioning, sales plays, talk tracks, objection handling, competitive resources, and other sales readiness materials that help sellers differentiate Origami and progress opportunities.
• Provide Brand + Content, Growth, Events, Communications, Analyst Relations, and other Marketing partners with the market insight, product expertise, positioning, messaging frameworks, and commercial GTM strategy needed to inform their campaigns, content, events, thought leadership, and other market-facing programs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Origami’s Insurance solutions and associated markets, developing the market fluency necessary to credibly represent our products, buyers, differentiation, and strategic direction internally and in support of industry analyst engagement.
• Measure and assess Product Marketing impact against relevant product and commercial outcomes, including competitive performance, deal progression, client expansion, and product adoption; use performance and market signals to identify opportunities and refine positioning and commercial GTM strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 3 + years of dedicated Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, ideally within a complex, Sales-led environment with multiple products, buyer audiences, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated breadth across the Product Marketing discipline, with experience extending beyond launch execution and sales collateral into areas such as market and customer research, competitive intelligence, positioning, commercialization, and product strategy.
• Strong business and commercial acumen, with an understanding of how enterprise software companies create revenue, how complex B2B buying and sales processes work, and how Product Marketing contributes to commercial performance.
• Proven ability to independently take ownership of complex or ambiguous business problems, determine what information is needed, develop a point of view, and recommend a path forward rather than relying on a predefined playbook.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect market, customer, competitive, and business signals, identify what matters, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with cross-functional stakeholders, navigate differing perspectives, constructively challenge assumptions, and create alignment without relying on formal authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts, articulate a clear point of view, and adapt communication to different audiences and stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and learning agility, with a demonstrated ability to quickly develop fluency in complex products, buyers, industries, or technical subject matter and become a credible resource to internal stakeholders.
• Experience with P&C insurance, commercial insurance, insurance core systems, Insurtech, or related insurance technology; and/or experience with policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, rating, or other carrier workflows.
• Product Marketing certification.
