- In Vitro department serves the top 20 multinational pharmaceutical companies in the world and more than 1,000 domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies, scientific research institutions, hospitals, etc. There are thousands of projects in operation every year, with research facilities in Beijing (China), Taicang near Shanghai (China) Leiden (The Netherlands), San Diego (USA), and Loughborough (UK). Our exclusive strategic cooperation agreement with the world's top organoid institute (HUB) drives our leading position in providing a cutting-edge tumour organoid platform for drug testing. Data generated from state-of-the-art in vitro high-throughput screening of 100’s of human and murine tumour cell lines and organoids drive bioinformatics-based biomarkers for predicting drug effectiveness. Molecular biology engineering using CRISPR enables development of clinically relevant cell models of cancer and drug resistance, supporting target and drug discovery.
- Our work can aim to provide the technology and expertise to solve common problems in the field of pre-clinical cancer drug research and development, enabling us to support our clients and enable them to advance their drugs to obtain clinical approval and ultimately benefit cancer patients.
Responsibilities
- · Responsible for advancing projects in the RD plan which includes design, plan and execution of high-quality in vitro assays for immune-oncology target validation
- · Responsible for leading and coaching the technicians to complete bench work for their projects.
- · Drive execution of research strategy and develop industry-level assays.
- · Use knowledge of recent scientific advances and translate these into research directions.
- · Prepare reports, publications and oral presentations.
- · Support the BD team to communicate with clients on professional aspects, and provide experimental outlines when necessary.
- · Understand the work of operation team and lead them for executing research projects.
- · Understand and can strictly follow the company compliance rules.
- · Complete other assignment timely from upper management.
Requirements
- · PhD in Cell Biology, Immuno-Oncology or any other oncology-related life science discipline.
- · 1-5 years of working experience including post-doc training.
- · Experience with immunological assay development is a must.
- · Experience with oncology is a plus.
- · CRO experience is a plus.
- · Self-motivated, detail-oriented and goal-oriented.
- · Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirits.
- · Familiar with Office software and statics analyses software.
- · Ability to follow the latest progress in cancer field and ability to design experiments for target validation independently.
- · Proficiency in a wide range of molecular/cellular biology techniques including mammalian cell culture, immune cell culture and isolation, immune cell stimulation/differentiation/analysis, flow cytometry, ELISA
- · Good organization, planning, critical thinking and trouble shooting skills.
- · Excellent English verbal and written skills.
