• Are you detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in payroll and accounting? RSI Community is looking for a Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team and help keep our operations running smoothly.
• Your work ensures that the dedicated people who support our residents are paid accurately and on time—and that our vendors and partners receive the same care and attention.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Management
• Manage bi-weekly payroll across our homes and programs.
• Review and post payroll cycles through UKG and our accounting system.
• Resolve timekeeping and pay questions with employees.
• Collaborate with HR on employee changes, benefits deductions, and tax reporting.
• Accounts Payable
• Manage vendor invoices and payments.
• Ensure accurate coding and timely processing.
• Work with program leadership on staffing costs and financial details.
• Finance & Compliance Support
• Support month-end close.
• Assist with audit preparation.
• Maintain accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Keep multiple deadlines moving efficiently.

Requirements

• Prior payroll and accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Knowledge of MIP Fund Accounting.
• General accounting background.
• Nonprofit or human services experience.
• Our payroll and accounting systems are largely automated through UKG and our accounting platform. This position focuses on the work that requires judgment, accuracy, problem-solving, and follow-through.
• High School or better.
