• NiCE Actimize is currently seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Business Operations Manager professional to help drive operational excellence, business planning, and data-informed decision-making across the NiCE Actimize sales organization.
• This senior individual-contributor role will partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support pipeline management, bookings and revenue forecasting, sales performance, territory and goal planning, budgeting, and operational execution. The Lead will translate complex business and sales data into meaningful insights, identify risks and opportunities, and develop scalable processes and tools that improve productivity, predictability, and execution.
• The successful candidate will combine strong business acumen, financial and analytical capabilities, and hands-on sales operations expertise. This individual will be comfortable working with senior leaders, leading cross-functional initiatives, challenging assumptions constructively, and independently driving complex projects from analysis through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning and Performance Management
• Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, and analytical activities supporting sales and business operations.
• Partner with Sales leadership to establish and manage operating rhythms, performance reviews, and business planning processes.
• Analyze pipeline, bookings, revenue, sales productivity, goal attainment, and other key performance indicators.
• Identify business trends, performance gaps, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Develop executive-ready reporting and presentations that communicate business performance, key drivers, and required actions.
• Perform regular variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, targets, and prior-period performance.
• Support annual and periodic planning activities, including territory, capacity, coverage, quota, and resource planning.
• Pipeline, Bookings, and Revenue Forecasting
• Drive disciplined pipeline management and forecasting processes in partnership with Sales leadership and Finance.
• Evaluate pipeline quality, coverage, conversion, sales-cycle progression, and forecast accuracy.
• Identify risks to bookings and revenue plans and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
• Incorporate client delivery schedules, contractual commitments, implementation considerations, and operational changes into revenue forecasts and timelines.
• Improve the consistency, accuracy, and transparency of pipeline, bookings, and revenue reporting.
• Establish reporting and analytical frameworks that enable leaders to make timely, informed decisions.
• Commercial and Deal Operations
• Provide operational and analytical support for complex sales opportunities, quotes, orders, pricing, and commercial structures.
• Evaluate pricing structures, discounting, and deal economics to support alignment with company objectives and commercial policies.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Professional Services, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient deal execution.
• Review complex quotes and order documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies.
• Support the interpretation and operational execution of software licensing agreements, contract terms, entitlements, extensions, and end-of-life fee calculations.
• Identify recurring deal and order issues and lead improvements that reduce cycle time, risk, and manual effort.
• Systems, Data, and Reporting
• Maintain and enhance sales operations systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and data-management processes.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for Salesforce, CPQ, forecasting, pipeline management, and related sales operations tools.
• Define business requirements and partner with technical teams on system enhancements, automation, testing, and implementation.
• Develop and improve tools used for quoting, forecasting, product and service costing, margin analysis, and revenue and expense management.
• Promote strong data quality, process compliance, and consistent use of sales systems across the organization.
• Build scalable reporting solutions that reduce manual work and provide stakeholders with accessible, actionable information.
• Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Leadership
• Lead complex, cross-functional sales operations initiatives from problem definition through implementation and adoption.
• Assess current processes, identify inefficiencies, and design scalable solutions that improve accuracy, speed, and stakeholder experience.
• Establish clear process documentation, governance, controls, and performance measures.
• Partner with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Professional Services, and Support teams to resolve complex operational issues.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders and a senior point of contact for business operations questions and escalations.
• Provide guidance, expertise, and informal mentorship to colleagues while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Support change-management and enablement activities associated with new systems, processes, policies, and operating models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
• Typically, 7 or more years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, or a comparable analytical role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting a complex, global, or enterprise sales organization.
• Expert Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of CoPilot and Claude is a must.
• Strong understanding of pipeline management, bookings, forecasting, sales performance, budgeting, and business planning.
• Experience working with software licensing models, commercial terms, quoting, order management, and contract-related processes.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify meaningful trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience building management reports, dashboards, and financial or operational models.
• Strong experience with Salesforce and CPQ, forecasting, or sales performance-management tools.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives independently and influence outcomes across functions without direct authority.
• Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and operational discipline.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in a SaaS, enterprise software, financial technology, or financial crime and compliance solutions organization.
• Experience supporting global sales teams and complex, multi-product enterprise transactions.
• Knowledge of ERP and financial systems such as Workday, SAP, or NetSuite.
• Understanding of revenue recognition considerations related to software orders, subscriptions, licensing, and services.
• Experience with business intelligence and data-visualization tools.
• Experience designing or improving forecasting methodologies, sales dashboards, quote tools, or operational governance.
• Familiarity with margin analysis, product or service costing, and deal profitability.
• Experience leading systems implementations, process transformations, or sales operations change initiatives.
