- Are you ready to make an impact at the intersection of media innovation and client success? Scripps is seeking a strategic Sr. Account Manager, SMB Growth & Direct Response to join our dynamic team in New York City. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind strengthening advertiser and agency relationships while delivering integrated media solutions that span linear television, digital, and streaming/CTV platforms. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution, delivery, and performance of assigned accounts and campaigns to meet client objectives, revenue goals, retention targets, and performance KPIs.
- Serve as a contact for advertisers and agencies, developing a strong understanding of their business objectives, target audiences, marketing strategies, and performance goals while providing responsive, solutions-oriented support as well as upselling opportunities.
- Partner with account executives and sales leadership on media plans, proposals, presentations, pipeline management, account growth, retention, and opportunities to increase advertiser investment.
- Proactively monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance; analyze KPIs including CPA, CPL, ROAS, response, conversion, reach, and frequency; and implement optimization strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze campaign and account performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop client-facing reports, campaign recaps, recommendations, and strategic insights.
- Coordinate the campaign lifecycle from proposal through order entry, trafficking, scheduling, optimization, reporting, makegoods, and reconciliation while maintaining accurate account, campaign, and revenue information in applicable systems.
- Partner with Sales, Ad Operations, Traffic, Inventory, Research, Marketing, Content, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure effective planning, execution, issue resolution, and delivery of client commitments.
Requirements
- BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of national advertising landscapes, agency structures, and enterprise-level client requirements preferred
- Strong and comprehensive understanding of linear TV, digital, and streaming/CTV media planning, buying, and optimization across integrated platforms
- Knowledge of Direct Response advertising, performance metrics (CPA, CPL, ROAS, conversion rates), and campaign management processes
- Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data, identify optimization opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Exceptional client-service and communication skills
- Ability to effectively present strategic recommendations to advertisers, agencies, and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability in end-to-end campaign oversight with focus on revenue optimization and strategic partnership alignment
- Proficiency in CRM, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office with strong organizational skills to prioritize competing demands in fast-paced environments
