Responsibilities

• Project Manager
• MV Transportation is seeking a Project Manager for proposed business who will provide support, leadership, supervision, administration, and contract coordination for DAR Paratransit and Microtransit Service. The position ensures compliant, responsive, and high-quality service for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Demand Responsive (DAR) Paratransit Service and Microtransit operation.
• Provide general supervision of operational staff and coordinate service activities as necessary.
• Investigate and respond to customer comments, concerns, and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) rules, regulations, and service requirements.
• Make operational decisions, supervise staff, and provide coordination during all operating hours.
• Maintain telephone availability during all operating hours.
• Use a proactive and results-oriented approach to identify and resolve operational problems.
• Attend regular meetings with the City to review contract compliance and adherence to performance standards.
• Work with the City to troubleshoot problem areas and address operational concerns.
• Participate in discussions regarding operations, marketing, and promotional activities.
• Provide the administration, management, and oversight necessary to support quality paratransit and microtransit services.
• Demonstrate care, professionalism, and empathy when serving individuals with disabilities and senior citizens.

Requirements

• Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing the day-to-day operations of paratransit, Dial-A-Ride, or microtransit services.
• Knowledge of ADA rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven management experience in transit, paratransit, or microtransit operations.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, make decisions, and coordinate operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational issues.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience investigating and responding to customer comments and complaints.
• Responsible, caring, and empathetic toward individuals with disabilities and senior citizens who use DAR services.
• Available by telephone during all operating hours.

Benefits

• Starting salary range: $87,000 - $102,700
