Job description

• Atlas Energy Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who knows how to go find talent, not just manage applicants. This role will support hiring across our growing Power and Operations teams, with a focus on technical, skilled trades, field, and professional roles. We need someone who is comfortable sourcing hard-to-find talent, building pipelines from scratch, and partnering directly with hiring leaders in a fast-moving environment.

• You don't wait for the perfect candidate to apply. You know how to research a market, identify where the talent is, reach out, adjust your approach when something isn't working, and keep going until you find the right people.
• You enjoy recruiting roles that require some digging, and you want to understand the business behind the position you're recruiting for.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer and onboarding
• Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, referrals, industry networks, and creative sourcing strategies
• Build talent pipelines for technical, skilled trades, field operations, and professional roles
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand the business, technical requirements, and talent market
• Develop sourcing strategies for difficult or niche searches rather than relying solely on inbound applicants
• Screen and assess candidates for experience, technical alignment, and overall fit for the role
• Manage multiple searches and priorities while keeping candidates and hiring managers moving
• Provide market insight on talent availability, compensation, competition, and sourcing challenges
• Support recruiting events, trade schools, military recruiting, and other targeted talent initiatives
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition activity within the ATS
• Deliver a strong candidate experience from first conversation through hire

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with strong hands-on sourcing experience
• Experience recruiting within energy, oil & gas, power generation, manufacturing, industrial, construction, engineering, or a similar technical environment
• Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates
• Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean/search skills
• Experience recruiting technical, skilled trades, operations, engineering, or other difficult-to-fill roles
• Comfortable partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently
• Organized, accountable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Experience with an ATS and recruiting technology
• Agency recruiting experience is a plus, but not required
