• Performance Management / Metric Analyst - Falls Church, VA (Hybrid)
• Duration: 12+ months

Responsibilities

• Clean, validate, and organize large data sets to support Navy Medicine's objectives.
• Analyze data using Excel, Python, R, SAS, or similar tools to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and implement data transformation processes aligned with project goals.
• Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Document data cleaning and analysis procedures for transparency and reproducibility.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support project management activities, including meeting coordination and deliverable tracking.
• Prepare and support recurring reports and deliverables for Navy Medicine leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
• 1-3 years of experience cleaning and analyzing data sets using Excel, Python, R, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with government data sets or in healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
