• Fitness Connection is looking for a Sales Manager who knows how to create momentum. This role leads the club's membership sales function, develops a high-performing sales team, and drives the daily activity that fuels growth. Success comes from being visible, coaching in real time, building relationships, and creating accountability around results.
• You'll lead from the front - selling memberships, coaching Fitness Consultants, creating energy around daily goals, and helping prospects take the first step toward healthier lives through fitness. This role combines performance leadership, people development, and member connection to bring our mission to life: Inspiring the people we serve to build healthier lives through value-rich experiences.
• This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and is motivated by building both strong teams and strong business results.
• Membership sales goals are consistently achieved or exceeded

Responsibilities

• Drive Membership Growth & Revenue
• • Own membership sales performance, translating monthly goals into daily activity, coaching, and accountability that drive consistent revenue growth.
• • Develop a high-performing sales culture by coaching effective selling behaviors, reinforcing sales processes, and building confidence across the team.
• • Lead from the front, maintaining personal sales activity, cultivating community relationships, and creating positive prospect experiences that convert interest into membership.
• Build a Winning Sales Team
• • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop Fitness Consultants.
• • Deliver ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance coaching.
• • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
• • Facilitate sales huddles, role plays, and development activities that strengthen selling skills.
• • Build a culture of engagement, enthusiasm, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• • Prepare team members for future growth opportunities within the organization.
• Deliver a Member-Engaging Club Experience
• • Build authentic relationships with prospects, members, and teammates.
• • Help prospects connect their personal goals to the value of fitness and membership.
• • Address concerns and objections with confidence, empathy, and professionalism.
• • Ensure every potential member experience reflects the Fitness Connection brand and commitment to service.
• • Support club events and community engagement activities that strengthen local awareness and relationships.
• Run the Business
• • Drive disciplined sales execution through accurate reporting, lead management, follow-up, and operational consistency.
• • Uphold company standards by maintaining compliance, safety expectations, and established sales processes.
• • Support club leadership and operations through Manager-on-Duty coverage, opening and closing responsibilities, and ongoing communication of business performance.

• College degree preferred
• Prior experience in sales leadership, membership sales, retail sales, hospitality, or another customer-facing leadership role
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales tracking systems
• Ability to travel locally for promotions, marketing events, and community outreach activities as needed
• Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
