Staff Product Manager at EBANX in Singapore

Job description

• We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to join our Financial Products team, based in Singapore, with a focus on supporting EBANX’s expansion across Asia and the Middle East. In this role, you will drive product initiatives that enable entry into new countries, create new financial solutions, and address the needs of strategic merchants across these regions. You will work directly with merchants and collaborate closely with Engineering, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory, PMM, and Commercial teams to understand complex business needs and build scalable solutions, combining strategic judgment with hands-on execution to expand EBANX’s reach, strengthen our product portfolio, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision & strategy: Define and communicate a long-term direction for money-movement solutions and country expansion, identifying where to invest and aligning product decisions with company priorities and sustainable growth;
• Shape world-class products: Turn market opportunities and merchant needs into clear product requirements, guiding new products and features from discovery to launch while balancing tailored solutions with long-term scalability;
• Champion customer & business understanding: Work directly with merchants and Commercial teams to understand complex workflows, shape solutions, and uncover opportunities grounded in customer value, regulatory realities, and EBANX economics;
• Drive cross-functional initiatives: Lead complex initiatives across countries and teams, aligning Engineering, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory, PMM, and Commercial around shared outcomes, resolving dependencies, and influencing decisions without relying on formal authority;
• Translate strategy into execution: Bring structure to ambiguous problems, make sound trade-offs, and stay close to delivery, working with teams to define scope, remove blockers, and measure success through adoption, revenue, and operational performance;
• Own the roadmap: Maintain a transparent, outcome-driven roadmap across concurrent initiatives, balancing regional needs with shared capabilities and adapting priorities as customer insights, business results, and market conditions evolve;

Requirements

• Product track record: Demonstrated success building and scaling complex products with measurable business impact, including leading initiatives that span multiple teams or markets;
• Payments & fintech experience: Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or adjacent complex B2B environments, with the ability to quickly build an understanding of financial flows, business models, and regulatory constraints;
• End-to-end ownership: Proven ability to independently take opportunities from discovery through launch and continuous optimization, creating clarity and momentum when the path is not yet defined;
• Strategic + tactical execution: Equally comfortable setting long-term product direction and working through the practical details needed to deliver, with sound judgment on where to focus and when to go deeper;
• Stakeholder influence: Success aligning technical, financial, regulatory, commercial, and executive stakeholders around shared goals and trade-offs, alongside the confidence to lead product conversations directly with merchants;
• Bias for action & accountability: A proactive, hands-on approach, strong ownership of outcomes, and the ability to move multiple initiatives forward with autonomy, seeking input and escalating risks when needed;
• English Fluency: Fluent written and spoken English; able to explain complex topics clearly, lead merchant discussions, and build alignment with diverse audiences, from developers to C-level;
• Business acumen: Skilled at building business cases, evaluating revenue potential and unit economics, and turning customer and market insights into clear investment and prioritization decisions;
• A relevant degree: Bachelor’s or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field;
• Regional payments expertise: Hands-on experience launching products or entering new markets in SEA, MENA, or other regions, including working with local payment rails, schemes, and partners;
• Treasury & liquidity know-how: Experience with treasury management systems, liquidity optimization, cross-border money movement, and FX solutions;
• Regulatory & tax frameworks: Working knowledge of central-bank regulations, tax requirements, and similar compliance frameworks, with experience translating them into viable product solutions.
