Environmental Regulatory Compliance Representative at Careers in US-PA-Cranberry Township

Responsibilities

• The Environmental Regulatory Compliance Representative, will serve as an integral member of the EHS team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
• Prepare and submit environmental regulatory plans, reports, disclosures, and correspondence, including Emergency Response Plans (ERP); Preparedness, Prevention, and Contingency (PPC) Plans; Tier II Chemical Disclosures; water and air quality compliance related submissions
• Maintain regulatory matrices identifying regulatory submission requirements and responsible representative; periodically audit to ensure submissions are being made as required
• Manage, evaluate, and interpret environmental sample analytical data to support compliance and decision-making
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to support regulatory submissions
• Maintain and track environmental compliance schedules to meet regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate initiative, accountability, sound judgment, safety-focused decision-making, and environmental stewardship
• Manage the reports/data associated with environmental sampling, field investigations, inspections, monitoring, data collection, and related reporting
• Maintain environmental data libraries to include accurate records and documentation to support data quality and regulatory compliance
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively
• Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, natural resources, or a related scientific discipline is preferred
• Direct oil and gas environmental experience, preferred
• 2 to 5 years of environmental compliance, consulting, regulatory, engineering, or related experience
• Knowledge of groundwater, surface water, soil, waste management, air quality, or oil and gas environmental compliance, preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with data management systems
• Understanding of environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and compliance obligations, including PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations and industry best practices, preferred
• Ability to build productive relationships and effectively engage with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical and environmental data
• The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.
