• The Inside Sales Representative – Test & Inspections is responsible for managing inbound sales inquiries, supporting outside sales representatives, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position requires a professional with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in CRM systems. The role plays a key part in supporting sales operations, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a collaborative team environment in alignment with State Systems’ commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• · Manage and respond to inbound sales calls and electronic inquiries through HubSpot and other approved communication channels.
• · Qualify, document, and process sales opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
• · Collaborate with outside sales personnel to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of customer proposals, quotes, and service information.
• · Maintain accurate and current customer data, opportunities, and communication logs within the company’s CRM system.
• · Coordinate with internal departments, including service, scheduling, and billing, to facilitate smooth execution of Test & Inspection services.
• · Provide prompt and courteous customer support, demonstrating a commitment to quality and responsiveness.
• · Monitor customer accounts and follow up on open quotes and pending opportunities.
• · Identify potential areas for upselling and cross-selling to meet customer needs and support company growth objectives.
• · Participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and ongoing training to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Requirements

• · Minimum of two (2) years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or related business-to-business environment; experience within a service or life safety industry is preferred.
• · Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems; HubSpot experience is highly desirable.
• · Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues at all organizational levels.
• · Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• · Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
