Job description
- Job shadow and learn alongside multiple Department Managers on general supervisory skills including employee training, appraisals, and terminations. Must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify, analyze and improve processes and be accountable for accurate and timely completion of production orders.
Responsibilities
- Observe performance annual evaluations, hiring and corrective actions for positions
- Promote a safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production team
- Monitor daily and weekly production schedules and goals
- Organize and assign work duties of employees
- Evaluate employee performance and complete timely appraisals
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Inspect quality of product at each workstation
- Practice good housekeeping in all areas
Requirements
- Entering Junior or Senior year Self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Respectful of employees, vendors and customers
