• The Consumer Segment Strategic Finance Officer provides financial management leadership and strategic decision support to Consumer Segment and Line of Business leadership. Serving as a trusted financial advisor and business partner, this role provides insight to support short- and long-term business strategies, evaluates financial performance, and identifies opportunities to improve profitability and business outcomes. Responsibilities include financial analysis and decision support, planning and forecasting, incentive plan support, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic financial leadership and decision support to Consumer Segment and Line of Business leadership, including performance evaluation, risk identification, and recommendations to optimize financial and business outcomes.
• Leads financial planning and forecasting activities, identifying risks and opportunities and providing insights that inform tactical and strategic decision-making.
• Analyzes financial results and underlying business drivers, developing recommendations related to profitability, productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.
• Oversees business unit financial reporting and partners with Corporate Finance teams to support effective financial models, reporting, and decision-support capabilities.
• Serves as a trusted financial partner to senior business leaders and provides leadership and direction to the assigned finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Typically requires mastery level knowledge and skills within assigned discipline, with broad understanding of areas within the job function, generally gained through experience
• Typically requires 10+ years prior leadership experience, and demonstrates broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas
• Broad financial management background with experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support.
• Financial services industry experience and knowledge; relevant banking and finance experience strongly preferred.
• Strong strategic and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to communicate financial insights and influence senior and executive-level business leaders.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
