• Designer / CAD Detailer

• Industrial Air Technology Corp. is seeking a highly motivated Designer/CAD Detailer to join our engineering and manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals with entry-level experience using 3D CAD software who are interested in developing a career in metal manufacturing, industrial equipment, or machine design.
• The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to create detailed drawings and models, maintain design documentation, and support manufacturing operations. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while adapting to evolving industry standards and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Produce detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for production.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and design files.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing personnel to support production requirements.
• Assist with design modifications and continuous improvement projects.
• Organize and manage project documentation and revision histories.
• Support the development of custom equipment and engineered solutions.
• Stay current with industry standards, design practices, and CAD software updates.

• Associate degree, technical certification, or relevant coursework in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Entry-level experience with 3D CAD software required.
• Experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, or machine design is a plus.
