• KBX is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Capacity Solutions Strategy & Analytics team in Green Bay, WI. In this role, you will leverage data, market intelligence, financial analysis, and strategic thinking to improve pricing decisions that create value for our customers, carriers, and business.
• This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, influencing decisions through analytics, and partnering across commercial, operations, finance, and analytics teams. You will help shape pricing strategies, improve pricing processes, and generate insights that drive profitable growth while supporting KBX's long-term market objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve pricing strategies, principles, and governance frameworks that create value for both external customers and Koch companies.
• Support KBX's pricing strategy by identifying opportunities for profitable growth, dedicated backhauls, and network optimization.
• Lead pricing analysis and execution for customer RFPs, bids, and commercial opportunities.
• Partner with commercial teams to provide pricing insights, solution support, lane appetite recommendations, and opportunity-level guidance.
• Contribute to pricing boundary logic, target-margin methodologies, and customer pricing frameworks to support sound business decisions.
• Balance market dynamics, customer needs, and profitability objectives to deliver competitive and sustainable pricing solutions.
• Identify strategic opportunities for dedicated, managed freight, and over-the-road volume growth in partnership with analytics and business teams.
• Utilize internal and external market intelligence, including DAT, GoodShip, and Power BI, to understand market conditions, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain processes for identifying critical, strategic, and high-risk lanes across the network.
• Identify financial risks and profit improvement opportunities, including market shifts, margin erosion, and accessorial recovery opportunities.
• Research transportation market trends, emerging technologies, and industry innovations to identify opportunities that create long-term value.
• Influence decisions across the organization by applying economic thinking, strategic analysis, and Principle Based Management® concepts to improve business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience supporting pricing, commercial strategy, transportation, logistics, supply chain, finance, analytics, or revenue management functions
• Experience developing recommendations, business cases, or pricing decisions using quantitative analysis and business data
• Experience presenting findings, recommendations, or business insights to stakeholders
• Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, finance, analytics, or other business teams to achieve business objectives
• Experience identifying risks, opportunities, process improvements, or profit-enhancement initiatives and driving actions to address them
• Experience importing, exporting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets in Microsoft Excel, including the use of PivotTables, lookup functions, formulas, filters, and data validation tools.
• Experience utilizing customer, shipper, or transportation procurement portals to review bid opportunities, submit pricing proposals, and manage awarded business
• Experience developing or supporting pricing frameworks, profitability analyses, market assessments, RFP responses, or commercial proposals
• Experience using Power BI, Tableau, DAT, GoodShip, or similar analytical and market intelligence tools
• Experience evaluating transportation networks, freight markets, carrier capacity, customer profitability, or growth opportunities
• Experience building dashboards, financial models, forecasting tools, or business intelligence solutions that informed business decisions
• Experience leading or contributing to initiatives that improved profitability, operational efficiency, customer value, or commercial performance
