Job description

• As a Java Architect, you will be the development lead on the client projects
• Coordinates and oversees all technical activities relating to architecture including directing the design team, reviewing drafts, and approving design changes.
• Should be well-versed in supporting high-availability web applications by developing analytical models; and completing validation tests.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities: create, maintain, and govern architectural views and blueprints depicting the enterprise and IT landscape in its current, transitional, and future state
• recommend long-term direction on strategic advancements within the technical portfolio
• build a community of practice for solutions architecture while leveraging architectural tools, processes and practices
• define and maintain standards for artifacts containing architectural content within the operating model
• offer insight, guidance and direction on the usage of emerging trends and technical capabilities

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with system installation, configuration and operations
• 8+ years of software or DB development with a focus on Java development tools and technologies

• Coordinates with the client technical architecture team for review and approval of system architecture hands-on working experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• working experience with modern agile development methodologies and practices
• strong verbal and written facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
