Job description

• On behalf of our client, an Online Gaming company, we are seeking an experienced Senior Finance & Tax Manager to manage the accounting, tax, treasury, and financial operations of our growing U.S. business.
• This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing U.S. tax compliance, overseeing cash flows, and supporting tax-efficient corporate and international structuring.
• We are not currently looking for a CFO-level candidate. We are looking for someone with strong accounting and tax expertise who can grow with the business and potentially progress into a Finance Director or CFO role in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books and records for U.S. entities.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment processor settlements, customer transactions, vendor payments, refunds, chargebacks, and other financial activities.
• Manage monthly and annual financial closing and prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reports.
• Manage U.S. federal and state tax compliance in coordination with external CPAs and tax advisors.
• Identify and evaluate legitimate opportunities to improve the company's tax efficiency and overall corporate structure.
• Support international tax planning for transactions between U.S. and overseas group companies.
• Manage and document intercompany transactions, including service fees, technology/platform fees, IP arrangements, loans, dividends, and other commercial arrangements.
• Work with external specialists on transfer pricing and ensure intercompany transactions are properly structured, documented, and commercially supportable.
• Evaluate the tax implications of moving funds between U.S. and international entities, including withholding taxes, transfer pricing, and reporting requirements.
• Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, liquidity, and international cash flows.
• Develop efficient processes for receiving, holding, and transferring funds across the group's U.S. and international operations.
• Support banking and PSP requirements, including KYB, financial reporting, source-of-funds documentation, and transaction records.
• Develop financial controls, accounting policies, approval procedures, and reporting processes as the business grows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysis for senior management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, corporate finance, tax, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate accounting and taxation.
• Experience with U.S. federal and state corporate tax requirements.
• Experience with international or cross-border transactions is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax, intercompany transactions, and corporate structuring is highly valuable.
• Experience with treasury, cash management, banking, and international fund flows is preferred.
• CPA qualification or strong experience working in a CPA, accounting, or tax advisory firm is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in online gaming, sweepstakes, iGaming, fintech, payments, e-commerce, or another high-volume transactional business would be particularly valuable.
• Experience dealing with banks, PSPs, payment processors, and high transaction volumes is preferred.
