Job description
- A well-established, family-owned manufacturer serving the automotive supply chain is hiring a Sales Account Manager to grow its business across the Great Lakes / Upper Midwest and Mexico.
- This is a hunter role. You'll be doing up to 70% new business development, reporting to the Director of Sales, with an existing book to build on.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business across automotive Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs
- Manage and grow existing relationships in your territory
- Travel 40%+ across the Great Lakes / Upper Midwest and into Mexico
- Work closely with sales leadership on account strategy and pipeline
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience selling into automotive Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs
- Comfortable with a hunter-heavy role and heavy travel schedule
- Based in MI, OH, IN, IL or WI
- Spanish language skills a plus, not required
- Prior experience with precision converted products or functional materials for automotive electronics is a plus, not required
