• Job Title: Senior Manager (Software Solutions Architecture)

• You will travel to prospective and existing OEM customers and design how their systems connect to the Sibros Deep Connected Platform: vehicle-to-cloud connectivity, data pipelines, OTA update programs, and the integration points into their own manufacturing and after-sales systems. You are the person the customer's engineering leadership talks to when they need to know how this will actually work in their environment.
• From design to delivery, your team sits at every step of the customer engagement and owns what comes out of it: the Sibros platform running inside the customer's own cloud account, with Sibros keeping ownership and day-to-day management of the environment, plus the customer-specific solutions that let the platform interface with an OEM's manufacturing and after-sales processes. You design the solutions that bring our product platform and our customers' requirements together. As part of the Infrastructure department, you help keep that platform performing reliably and at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer architecture. Act as the primary technical contact for OEM accounts and prospects. Travel on site to run architecture workshops, technical deep dives, and the executive conversations that follow them.
• Design the integration. Architect how a customer's vehicle programs, cloud estate, and enterprise systems connect to the Deep Connected Platform, and make sure the design holds up against their security, compliance, and data residency requirements.
• Support pre-sales. Lead proof-of-concept engagements, architecture reviews, and RFP responses, and carry them through to a design that can be deployed rather than one that only reads well.
• Run the Customer Hosted team. Manage the engineers who deploy and operate the Sibros platform inside customer cloud accounts, where we keep ownership of the service without owning the account it runs in.
• Deliver custom solutions. Direct the design and delivery of customer-specific work built within the platform, using AI-assisted development tooling to keep delivery fast without giving up quality.
• Grow the team. Hire, coach, and set direction, and stay technical enough to be a genuine reference for your engineers rather than only their manager.
• Work across Sibros. Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Customer Success to turn a customer's business objectives into something we can build and operate.

Requirements

• Experience. 10+ years across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, and security.
• People management. 4+ years managing engineers directly, including hiring and performance responsibility.
• Architecture. 5+ years designing, implementing, or consulting on complex cloud architectures, with production deployments behind you.
• Hands-on infrastructure. Strong Kubernetes and Terraform. You should be able to review your team's work on a customer-hosted deployment and recognise when the answer is wrong.
• Cloud. Working knowledge of at least one major hyperscaler (AWS or GCP), and of deploying into an environment you do not control, under someone else's security and compliance rules.
• Communication. Able to explain the same design to a customer's VP of Engineering and to the engineer who has to build it, and be understood by both.
• Travel. Willing to travel internationally to customer sites on a regular basis.
• Connected vehicle, SDV, or automotive telematics background.
• Hands-on experience integrating cloud-native platforms with OEM enterprise backends (PLM, MES, SAP, after-sales).
• Experience running software in a customer-controlled environment, where you own the service but not the account.
• Familiarity with multi-region delivery across regions, and the requirements that differ between them.
• Comfortable using LLM-based tooling in daily engineering work. Experience with Claude Code is a bonus.
• Real-time and batch processing using technologies such as MQTT, Kafka, Kubernetes, time-series databases, and the analytics tooling on top of them, applied to connected vehicles or comparable IoT workloads.
