- Warehouse Associate - HVAC Products | Carrier Enterprise | JACKSONVILLE
- Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our Richmond. Join a team that excels in providing top-notch HVAC/R products, parts, and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors.
- As a Warehouse Associate at Carrier Enterprise, you work the 2nd shift (3 PM - midnight) managing daily warehouse operations, including picking and verifying orders, loading and unloading products, and maintaining inventory control using advanced warehouse technology. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of HVAC products. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Responsibilities
- Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards.
- Scan products to ensure accurate and timely shipping.
- Collaborate with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for product delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC or similar distribution industry.
- Fork Lift experience required
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (team-building) skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems.
- Current Forklift experience is rquired
- High School diploma or equivalent.
