Job description

• The Member of Technical Staff- AI Engineer role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI capabilities, including agentic infrastructure, model customization, and agentic workflows for some of the world's largest enterprises.
• This is a hands-on engineering role for engineers with strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building or contributing to production AI systems. You will work alongside experienced engineering and science teams to build scalable AI capabilities, solve complex technical problems, and deploy those capabilities within enterprise environments.
• Successful candidates will be comfortable writing production-quality software, working with modern AI technologies, and taking ownership of meaningful components or capabilities from implementation through deployment and ongoing improvement.
• We are looking for engineers who want to build AI systems, not simply consume them. Candidates should have hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications, infrastructure, models, or related capabilities and an interest in deepening their expertise in agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying AI capabilities, including agentic infrastructure, model customization, and agentic workflows for large enterprises.
• Writing production-quality software, working with modern AI technologies, and taking ownership of meaningful components or capabilities from implementation through deployment and ongoing improvement.
• Building scalable AI capabilities, solving complex technical problems, and deploying those capabilities within enterprise environments.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Master's or PhD degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including hands-on experience building or contributing to AI-powered products or production AI systems.
• Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering, with hands-on experience developing production-quality software.
• Hands-on experience with at least one or more modern AI technologies or architectures, such as:
• o Agentic systems and agent orchestration
• o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• o Model customization, tuning, or optimization
• o Large Language Models (LLMs)
• o AI infrastructure and inference systems
• o Data processing and knowledge pipelines
• o Agent protocols or multi-agent architectures
• Experience translating AI techniques or models into practical software capabilities.
• Ability to make sound implementation decisions and understand tradeoffs involving performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn quickly as AI technologies and development practices evolve.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

• The estimated annual salary range for this role is $180,000–$240,000 USD. The salary for the successful applicant will depend on job-related factors such as education, training, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future. Total compensation also includes variable pay in the form of an annual target bonus and other cash incentives, with a combined potential of up to 150% of base salary.
