Job description

• The Director, HR Enablement provides strategic support to drive the operational effectiveness of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the Human Resources organization. The position is responsible for driving HR initiatives, enabling leadership team alignment, serving as a cross-functional liaison, and ensuring strategic priorities move from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Support: Track key deliverables across the HR organization, ensuring projects stay on timeline. Draft executive communications, board meeting materials, and all-hands presentations.
• Leadership Team Alignment: Manage the HR Leadership Team’s operating cadence, plan and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, record action items, and drive accountability for post-meeting follow-through.
• Project Leadership: Lead targeted initiatives across talent, culture, and operational strategy as assigned by the CHRO.
• KPI Reporting & Insights: Consolidate HR metrics and progress against strategic priorities into regular reporting for the CHRO and Leadership Team, analyzing trends to inform decision making.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between the CHRO, executive leadership, internal staff, and external partners.
• Time Optimization: Manage complex, dynamic scheduling for the CHRO. Prioritize meeting requests, protect focus time, and align the CHRO’s calendar directly with quarterly strategic priorities.
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years in high-level chief of staff, strategic project management, or executive support ideally within a human resources function.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence and discretion.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into appropriate project plans.
• Knowledge of human resources disciplines.
• Strong proficiency in modern office suites (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) and project management platforms.
• Mastery of calendar management, scheduling logistics, and task prioritization tools.
