• Senior Software Developer – React / React Native
• ARC Group is recruiting for our client, a Fortune 500 company, for a Senior Software Developer position in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
• We are looking for an experienced hands-on developer with a strong background in modern React and React Native development who can build, enhance, troubleshoot, and support both web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience taking applications through development and production, including publishing to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support moderately complex software applications and solutions.
• Build and enhance modern web applications using React and mobile applications using React Native.
• Develop and maintain integrations with REST/JSON APIs and enterprise systems.
• Support native mobile functionality and platform integrations using Swift and/or Kotlin.
• Troubleshoot, stabilize, and enhance existing applications with limited knowledge transfer.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth and OIDC.
• Apply mobile application security, secure token storage, and application-hardening best practices.
• Develop conversational and chat-based user experiences, including applications incorporating LLM/AI capabilities and streaming responses.
• Implement internationalization (i18n) and localization capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, configuration audits, testing, performance analysis, and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, usability, development processes, and overall user experience.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for production applications.
• May provide technical guidance to less-experienced developers on smaller projects or components of larger initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong, recent experience developing applications with React.
• Strong, recent experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Demonstrated experience building and delivering both web and mobile applications.
• Experience with native mobile development using Swift and/or Kotlin, particularly for React Native modules and platform integrations.
• Experience publishing applications to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of OAuth/OIDC, authentication, authorization, and secure token management.
• Strong knowledge of mobile application security and hardening.
• Strong experience integrating REST/JSON APIs.
• Experience with i18n and localization.
• Experience developing conversational/chat interfaces, preferably including LLM-integrated applications and streaming responses.
• Ability to take ownership of existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and stabilize systems with minimal documentation or knowledge transfer.
