Job description
- We're partnering with a well-established organization that is looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience in a supportive environment where you'll receive training and mentorship while building a strong foundation in accounting.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions
- Review invoices and ensure accurate GL coding
- Maintain vendor records and assist with W-9 and 1099 compliance
- Generate checks and supporting payment documentation
- Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Reconcile A/P aging reports
- Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities
- Work closely with internal departments to answer accounting-related questions
- Support audits and other accounting projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or graduating soon)
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Eager to learn and grow within an accounting career
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Previous accounting experience is a plus but not required—comprehensive training will be provided.
