• Walser Chrysler Jeep Dodge is looking for our next Sales Manager — a hands-on sales leader who knows how to develop people, create accountability, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and drive results.
• This is an opportunity for a leader who wants to be in the action: coaching Customer Specialists, helping close deals, developing sales talent, improving performance, and creating the energy and culture that makes a dealership successful.
• You’ll have the backing of Walser Automotive Group, a family-owned automotive group with more than 70 years in the business, while having the opportunity to make a direct impact on the performance of your store and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Performance
• Coach and support Customer Specialists throughout the sales process, including deal strategy, fly-bys and turnovers.
• Establish sales and gross-performance expectations and help the team consistently achieve them.
• Drive showroom performance with a focus on improving appointment handling, follow-up and overall close rates.
• Partner with Finance to strengthen F&I performance, product penetration and PVR.
• Monitor dealership and individual performance and turn results into actionable coaching.
• Ensure customers receive a consistent, transparent and exceptional Walser experience.
• Coach & Develop Your Team
• Provide ongoing coaching in product knowledge, closing techniques, customer experience and the Walser sales process.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Recognize strengths, identify development opportunities and help employees build meaningful career paths.
• Conduct performance conversations and annual reviews with thoughtful, actionable feedback.
• Lead by example and create an environment of positive energy, accountability and teamwork.
• Build a High-Performing Team
• Partner with Walser Recruiting to interview, select and hire great talent.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, time off and other day-to-day leadership responsibilities.
• Address employee relations and performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources.
• Support promotions, development plans and other staffing decisions based on performance and business needs.
• Own the Process
• Oversee the F&I process and ensure dealership performance expectations are met.
• Ensure ancillary products are consistently presented in accordance with Walser policy.
• Verify trade titles and payoff information are collected and accurate.
• Maintain compliance with customer-information safeguards, company policies and applicable requirements.
• Champion company initiatives and communicate important updates to the team.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a minimum of 1-year automobile sales experience

• Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Base Salary: $60,000–$90,000, based on experience
• On-Target Earnings: Earning potential up to $130,000 through team and dealership performance incentives.
