• Advantixx Insurance is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Insurance Agency Operations Manager / Licensed Producer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing Farmers Insurance agency while also contributing directly to new business production and agency growth.
• This is a hands-on leadership position combining agency management, sales, customer service, team supervision, workflow management, and insurance production. The ideal candidate is not simply an office manager—they are a licensed insurance professional and sales leader who understands how to operate an efficient agency while helping the team achieve production, retention, and customer service goals.
• The Operations Manager / Licensed Producer will work closely with agency ownership to ensure daily operations run efficiently, leads are properly managed, customers receive timely service, producers are following up on opportunities, documentation is accurate, and established agency procedures are consistently followed.
• This position will also actively participate in sales by quoting insurance, conducting policy reviews, identifying cross-selling opportunities, following up with prospects, and closing new business.
• We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the operation.
• The ideal candidate can walk into the agency each morning, understand what needs attention, organize priorities, support the team, resolve operational issues, monitor sales activity, and still step into a sales conversation and close business when needed.
• This person should be comfortable holding employees accountable while maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Strong candidates will understand that excellent agency operations and strong sales performance go together: leads must be followed up, customers must receive excellent service, documentation must be accurate, and the team must consistently work toward measurable goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and workflow of Advantixx Insurance.
• Help manage, coach, and support licensed producers and customer service team members.
• Monitor lead distribution, sales pipelines, follow-up activity, pending business, and customer service requests.
• Establish daily priorities and ensure important agency tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Quote and sell available personal and commercial insurance products.
• Generate new business and assist the agency in meeting production goals.
• Follow up with prospects, inbound leads, referrals, and existing customers.
• Conduct policy reviews and identify cross-selling and account-rounding opportunities.
• Monitor agency sales activity, conversion, retention, and other established performance metrics.
• Help producers develop stronger sales, follow-up, and customer relationship skills.
• Ensure customer calls, emails, and service requests are handled professionally and promptly.
• Assist with escalated customer service matters when necessary.
• Support policy renewals, retention initiatives, and customer relationship management.
• Maintain accurate records within agency management, CRM, and carrier systems.
• Help implement and maintain agency procedures, workflows, and operational standards.
• Coordinate employee schedules, training, onboarding, and day-to-day staff needs.
• Assist with performance monitoring and provide feedback to agency leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer, employee, and agency information.
• Ensure team members follow applicable licensing, carrier, agency, privacy, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in Farmers Insurance training and agency development programs as applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve agency efficiency, customer experience, and sales performance.
• Provide regular operational and production updates to agency ownership.
• Represent Advantixx Insurance professionally with customers, carriers, business partners, and the community.

Requirements

• Required
• Active Nevada Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License.
• Previous insurance agency, insurance sales, or insurance customer service experience.
• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance and agency operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with CRM, agency management, quoting, and carrier systems.
• Ability to analyze agency performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Professional, dependable, and capable of handling confidential information.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with agency ownership.
• Previous experience as an Insurance Agency Manager, Office Manager, Sales Manager, Senior Producer, or Team Lead.
• Active Nevada Life & Health Insurance Producer License.
• Experience with Farmers Insurance systems or products.
• Experience managing licensed insurance producers.
• Commercial insurance experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with CRM systems, lead management, sales reporting, and workflow automation.
