Job description
- Responsible for supporting business and financial decision-making by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting data across the credit union. Provides hands-on experience applying data analytics, statistical methods, and visualization techniques to real-world financial data, including operational, member, and risk-related datasets. Assists with reporting, data quality initiatives, and analytical projects while gaining exposure to credit union operations and regulatory considerations.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for applying knowledge of data analytics and information systems to support reporting and technical needs; improve data processes, quality and architecture; develop analytical dashboards and internal tools; and help identify and mitigate data‑related risks.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Angular, HTML.
- Knowledge of DB2 SQL Databases, database modeling and other Querying languages.
- Knowledge of Data science & Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning, Probabilistic and Statistical Learning Methods.
- Minimum –three to five years of data analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Well organized.
- Solid project management abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to assist and train others.
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
