Job description
- We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our Wills, Trusts & Probate team in Blackburn.
- You’ll work closely with our lawyers, help progress a range of matters and support clients through what can often be sensitive circumstances. This is a great opportunity to develop your experience and build a career in Private Client work.
Responsibilities
- 🔹 Drafting Wills, Codicils, LPAs and Trust documents
- 🔹 Preparing Probate applications, HMRC forms and estate information
- 🔹 Liaising with clients, executors, beneficiaries and financial institutions
- 🔹 Supporting with file opening, billing and progressing matters
- 🔹 Completing legal research and managing key deadlines
Requirements
- ✔ Previous Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience
- ✔ Strong organisation and attention to detail
- ✔ Clear, professional and supportive communication
- ✔ Confidence managing deadlines and using your initiative
- ✔ A genuine interest in Wills, Trusts and Probate
- Experience in Private Client work, a legal qualification or knowledge of a case management system would be an advantage.
