Job description

• The Staff Accountant, General Accounting is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounting process across multiple brands as well as Corporate. This role will be heavily involved in the month end close process using both SAP and Oracle, preparing account reconciliations, and supporting all areas of the business as needed for reporting and research.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and upload journal entries across multiple brands and systems, ensuring appropriate support.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting, ability to multi-task and to adhere to the tight timeline of the month end close.
• Support all areas of the business to quickly and appropriately answer questions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist in special projects, audit requests, and ad hoc reporting as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience working in SAP, ORACLE, or similar ERP systems
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, and support team operations
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and customer service
