• Help shape the future of AI in Accountancy Software
• At IRIS Software Group, we're investing heavily in AI and building intelligent capabilities that transform how accountancy firms work. We're looking for a Lead Product Manager, AI to take ownership of AI innovation across the IRIS Elements Platform and our wider suite of cloud based Accountancy products.
• This is an opportunity to influence AI strategy, define market-leading product experiences and bring innovative solutions to life for thousands of customers across the UK.
• As our Lead Product Manager, AI, you'll own the vision, roadmap and delivery of AI-powered functionality across the IRIS Elements Platform. Working with Engineering, Design, Data and Commercial teams, you'll identify customer problems worth solving and transform them into meaningful, scalable AI solutions.
• You'll help answer some of the most important questions in AI product development:
• How do we build trust and confidence in AI-powered experiences?
• When should AI operate independently and when should people remain in control?
• How do we create measurable value whilst maintaining responsible AI standards?

Responsibilities

• Defining and owning the AI product roadmap.
• Building and launching AI-powered features used by real customers.
• Conducting customer research and translating insights into product priorities.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Data teams to ensure strong foundations for AI innovation.
• Establishing evaluation frameworks for AI outputs and product performance.
• Working across multiple product teams to create shared AI capabilities that scale across the business.
• Monitoring AI trends, market developments and emerging opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven Product Management experience within SaaS, platform products or AI-enabled technology environments.
• Experience working with Accountants and Accountancy products is desirable
• Experience successfully taking products from idea to launch.
• Strong customer-centric thinking and commercial awareness.
• Experience working closely with Engineering and Design teams in agile environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of AI, data, APIs, machine learning or adjacent technologies.
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to solve meaningful customer problems.
