Job description

• SUMMARY: An Inside Sales Associate I processes orders and quotations via fax, email or telephone
• handling the overall coordination and execution of customer service for the manufacturer’s we
• represent. Other tasks of the inside sales team include educating clients and up selling products and
• services, and handling cancellation or changes while informing the personnel or departments
• involved.

• ● Excellent Customer Service
• ● Answer incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
• ● Promptly respond to all emails, voicemails and phone calls
• ● Promptly and accurately process customers’ orders, quotes or returns
• ● Provide follow up on quotes and orders throughout sales process
• ● Obtain and communicate accurate information
• ● Provide pricing, availability and delivery information
• ● Set up new customer accounts
• ● Handle and resolve customer complaints while escalating to appropriate managers when
• necessary

Requirements

• ● Basic understanding of product lines represented
• ● Knowledge of customer service principles and practices preferably with experience in an
• office environment
• ● Ability to work both independently and in a teamwork environment
• ● Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel
