Job description
- Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Warehouse/Record Center Associate . In this role, you will be responsible for accurately managing physical and digital records , safely handling materials , and ensuring the integrity of client assets . You will play a crucial role in the movement and storage of vital information, maintaining a high standard of service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and store documents, tapes, and other media using Iron Mountain's proprietary tracking systems, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and within the warehouse using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified), following all safety protocols.
- Coordinate with drivers, internal teams, and management to fulfill client requests and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
- Very physically demanding with the expectation of lifting 50-100 boxes weighing 25-50 pounds per hour
- Non-climate control warehouse environment (can be well above 100 degrees in the summer and on the upper levels)
- Boxes can be dusty
- May be working on second, third or fourth levels where you can see through the flooring to the ground
- Work schedule will likely be 40 hours per week within the RANGE of 7:30am-6pm (varies by building)
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical inventory management environment.
- Strong knowledge of basic warehouse operations and safety procedures .
- Proven ability in accurate record-keeping and following detailed instructions to prevent errors.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
