• Position Title: Ground Transportation and Maintenance Manager
• Area of Requirement: Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Coraopolis, PA 15108
• Manage installation ground transportation and vehicle maintenance services, coordinating fleet readiness, maintenance resources and transportation support. Coordinate transportation services, fleet readiness, maintenance priorities and vehicle-resource planning. Direct dispatch, fleet analysis and maintenance personnel through their respective duties and use performance information to resolve service gaps. Maintain management oversight during routine operations and surge support without taking over dispatch, driving or mechanic duties.

Responsibilities

• · Direct transportation and maintenance personnel and monitor fleet serviceability.
• · Coordinate repair priorities, vehicle availability and customer transportation requirements.
• · Ensure qualified on-site manager or alternate coverage during operating hours.
• · Perform no additional duties outside ground transportation and maintenance management.
• · Review vehicle availability, maintenance backlog and preventive/special-inspection schedules with FM&A and the mechanic lead.
• · Coordinate dispatch priorities, driver resources and maintenance windows with mission and customer needs.
• · Review fleet performance and recurring repair trends and direct corrective actions within the ground transportation function.
• · Verify operator/mechanic qualifications and maintain alternate coverage and emergency recall readiness.

Requirements

• · C-TE-9 lists at least five years of documented experience managing vehicle management services.
• · C-TE-9 lists NAFA Fleet Management certification; C1.2.1 identifies Certified Automotive Fleet Manager certification.
• Additional required capabilities and onboarding
• · AF ground transportation/vehicle management systems training consistent with the proposal qualification matrix.
• · Ability to evaluate fleet data, supervise transportation service delivery and coordinate competing operating and maintenance demands.
• · Maintain required on-site core-hour coverage and after-hours availability for the assigned position.
• · Read, write and speak English fluently when interfacing with Government representatives; provide current qualification records for verification.
• · Complete required background/access processing, HSPD-12 credentialing and applicable onboarding/safety training before the assigned duties; complete the proposal’s Lautenberg certification process.
• Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation.
