Job description
- In this role, you will work directly with our Development, Trading, and IT organizations to ensure that trading operations are optimized and healthy. You will work on continuously improving our ability to identify and resolve issues related to trading as well as provide world-class support to traders. You will also help drive strategic projects across the firm, with a focus on improving our trading operations and the technology that supports our traders.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing trading platforms across multiple markets
- Monitoring and supporting Linux environments
- Working in the trading industry with focus on supporting traders and trading infrastructure
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical people to help drive business initiatives
- Identifying and solving problems that most cannot
- Working with trade teams assisting with on-boarding new opportunities
- With automation and process improvement
Requirements
- Experience in a trade support role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and Multicast
- Intermediate Bash and core Python ability. Prior large Python projects preferred but not required
- Able to trace order event streams using logs and packet captures
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

- The range below reflects the expected base salary for this position. It represents a good-faith estimate of the base pay we anticipate offering, with actual compensation determined by your experience, education, skills, and performance throughout the interview process. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus (at DV Trading's discretion) and DV Trading's benefits package, including the benefits listed above.
