- This is an on-site role based in Nashville, TN. Travel to Global Headquarters in Bowling Green, KY required as part of on-boarding.
- The Marketing Manager owns assigned brand/business performance by translating consumer, customer, financial, and marketplace insights into strategies that grow revenue, improve profitability, strengthen brand equity, and deliver retailer and consumer value. This role leads cross-functional execution across product portfolio, pricing, promotions, forecasting, communications, and budget management while developing marketing talent and ensuring business plans are delivered with accountability, speed, and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Brand and Business Growth
- · Deliver brand/category plans that support volume, profit, share, margin, and retailer growth objectives for assigned business areas.
- · Translate business priorities into clear marketing strategies that strengthen brand equity and improve consumer and customer relevance.
- · Monitor performance trends and recommend actions to close gaps, accelerate growth, and improve profitability.
- Product Portfolio Strategy
- · Define and advance seasonal and long-range product roadmap priorities, including newness, assortment strategy, retailer.com content, and portfolio choices that align with consumer and customer needs.
- · Partner with Merchandising, Design, Sales, and Planning to ensure product strategies are commercially viable and consumer-led.
- · Evaluate assortment performance and recommend portfolio changes that optimize SKU productivity, retailer fit, and business return.
- Pricing, Promotion, and Margin Management
- · Develop pricing, trade, and consumer promotion recommendations that achieve brand and retailer target margins while supporting sell-in, sell-through, and business profitability.
- · Manage promotion strategy and post-event analysis to identify opportunities to improve lift, ROI, and retailer execution.
- · Partner with Finance and Sales to balance competitive positioning, consumer value, and profitability requirements.
- Insight-Led Decision Making
- · Use business analytics, forecasting reports, consumer trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, recommend actions, and clearly communicate implications to leadership and cross-functional partners.
- · Synthesize consumer, customer, financial, and marketplace insights into actionable recommendations that improve business decisions.
- · Create clear presentations and business updates that connect insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended next steps.
- Cross-Functional Execution
- · Lead projects, creative processes, presentations, and business initiatives from concept through execution by aligning Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Design, Finance, Planning, Forecasting, Distribution, agencies, and external partners around clear deliverables.
- · Integrate brand communications, media priorities, and advertising support into cross-functional plans to strengthen message consistency, improve consumer engagement, and ensure commercial initiatives are supported by clear communication and media activation priorities.
- · Establish timelines, decision points, accountabilities, and communication routines that keep initiatives moving with speed and discipline.
- · Resolve barriers, escalate risks, and align stakeholders to deliver work on time and with measurable business impact.
- Team Leadership and Capability Building
- · Build a high-performing marketing team through coaching, prioritization, feedback, process discipline, and accountability for continuous improvement and business results.
- · Clarify expectations, remove obstacles, and help team members focus on the highest-value work and outcomes.

Requirements
- Uses customer, retailer, and consumer needs to guide strategy, strengthen relationships, and improve products, services, content, and business outcomes.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of consumer marketing experience with ownership of brand, category, or business results.
- Experience developing marketing strategies across product, pricing, promotion, and distribution.
- Financial acumen, including budgets, P&L drivers, margins, and data-informed recommendations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional work with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for varied audiences.
- Independent judgment, problem solving, prioritization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Leadership capability, including coaching, feedback, team development, and accountability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
