Job description
- Our internships provide an opportunity to learn what it takes to run a food manufacturing line. Your experience will be project based, with projects varying depending on current business needs. As an intern you can expect to gain valuable experience and insight into the workings of food manufacturing environment. At conclusion of Internship, you are expected to prepare a final presentation on the results of your assigned project(s) and will present your findings to members of the corporate management team.
Responsibilities
- Process improvement projects, related to improving yield, reducing waste, gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current-state performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions. Evaluate and improve core processes, ways of working, and day-to-day operational activities.

Benefits
- Rate: $22 USD per hour
- Compensation/Benefits
- The hourly range for this role is $22.00. Offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on skills, experience, and internal equity. In rare cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer above the midpoint; however, offers at the maximum of the range are not customary. The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match, and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.
