• The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end execution and optimization of lifecycle and ad hoc marketing campaigns across email and SMS channels. This role owns campaign development within the Iterable marketing automation platform, partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Design, Sales Operations, Legal, and other business stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer communications. The Marketing Automation Specialist leverages campaign performance data, testing, and customer insights to continuously optimize marketing programs, improve customer engagement, and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end creation, execution, and optimization of lifecycle and ad hoc marketing campaigns across email and SMS using the Iterable marketing automation platform.
• Develop and manage campaign workflows, audience segmentation, templates, forms, and digital content that support customer onboarding, engagement, lead nurturing, retention, and business growth.
• Partner with Marketing leadership to develop campaign strategies, targeting, timelines, and content while contributing ideas for new marketing initiatives and customer engagement opportunities.
• Coordinate campaign development and approvals with Brand, Design, Legal, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate campaign delivery.
• Build, test, launch, and monitor marketing campaigns, validating audience targeting, campaign functionality, content accuracy, and customer experience throughout the campaign lifecycle.
• Analyze campaign performance using marketing metrics, A/B testing, customer engagement data, and reporting to identify trends and recommend improvements that increase campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
• Manage and optimize the Iterable marketing automation platform by supporting platform administration, evaluating new functionality, and identifying opportunities to improve automation, workflows, and campaign processes.

Requirements

• Required Experience and Education
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, digital marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience creating, executing, and optimizing email, SMS, lifecycle, or automated marketing campaigns.
• 2+ years of experience using Iterable, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or a comparable CRM or marketing automation platform.
• 2+ years of experience developing and editing marketing content for customer-facing campaigns.
• 2+ years of experience analyzing campaign performance using marketing metrics, reporting, A/B testing, or customer engagement data to improve campaign effectiveness.
• 1+ year of experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Design, Legal, Sales Operations, or other business teams to execute marketing initiatives
• 1+ year of experience managing multiple concurrent campaigns or marketing projects while coordinating timelines, approvals, and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with HTML, email development, or digital campaign production.
• Experience with audience segmentation, personalization, customer journey mapping, or lifecycle marketing.
• Experience administering or optimizing the Iterable marketing automation platform.

• The base pay for this role in the St. Louis Park MN office is: $88,084 - $110,105 annually. You are also eligible for employee benefits medical, dental, vision, life, and participation in the company 401(k) plan. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
