• The Director of DAS Construction & Project Delivery is responsible for the end-to-end execution and financial success of wireless infrastructure projects, including Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Public Safety DAS, Private LTE, CBRS, 2-Way Radio systems, low-voltage cabling, and related communications infrastructure deployments.
• This individual will lead multiple project teams and project managers while maintaining accountability for project financial performance, execution quality, customer satisfaction, safety, and schedule adherence. The role requires an experienced leader who can bridge business strategy, operational execution, and technical expertise to successfully deliver projects across a variety of market sectors including data centers, large venues, commercial real estate, healthcare, hospitality, residential developments, campuses, industrial facilities, and mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Operations Leadership
• Own the successful delivery of multiple concurrent DAS and wireless infrastructure projects from project award through final acceptance and closeout.
• Provide leadership and oversight to project managers, construction managers, field teams, subcontractors, and support staff.
• Develop and implement scalable project delivery processes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Establish accountability across project teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and execution excellence.
• Monitor project performance through established KPIs, schedules, financial reports, resource utilization, and customer feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality control, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Financial Management & Business Accountability
• Maintain ultimate accountability for project financial performance including revenue, cost management, forecasting, profitability, and cash flow.
• Own project Gross Margin (GM) targets and drive execution strategies that maximize financial performance while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Review and approve project budgets, financial forecasts, change orders, procurement strategies, and cost recovery efforts.
• Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans to protect financial outcomes.
• Lead monthly project financial reviews and operational performance reviews.
• Ensure disciplined project controls, budget adherence, and accurate financial reporting across all active projects.
• Take final ownership and responsibility for project financial assumptions and execution strategies during bid submission and project turnover.
• Estimating, Preconstruction & Business Development Support
• Partner with sales, engineering, estimating, and executive leadership teams during pursuit and proposal phases.
• Review estimates, labor models, installation methodologies, schedules, risk factors, and execution plans.
• Provide constructability feedback and operational guidance during project development.
• Participate in bid strategy reviews and proposal development.
• Validate project assumptions, execution approaches, labor forecasts, subcontractor strategies, and procurement plans prior to project award.
• Support customer presentations, technical discussions, and executive reviews as required.
• Team Leadership & Organizational Development
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing project delivery teams.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain project managers, construction personnel, and operational support staff.
• Establish workforce development plans to support company growth and project demand.
• Create a culture focused on accountability, professionalism, customer success, safety, and continuous learning.
• Evaluate staffing requirements and develop departmental budgets aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational capabilities and execution consistency.

• Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as executive sponsor and escalation point for key customer relationships.
• Build trusted relationships with owners, general contractors, developers, operators, engineers, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Lead executive-level project reviews and customer status meetings.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout project lifecycle.
• Resolve complex project, contractual, operational, and customer challenges.
• Quality & Execution Excellence
• Drive a culture of quality focused on first-time-right execution.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control programs across all projects.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, industry best practices, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.
• Balance project schedule requirements with workmanship standards and financial objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that improve project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing the delivery of large-scale wireless infrastructure and low-voltage construction projects.
• 5+ years of experience leading project management and construction teams.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience with Public Safety DAS, ERCES, BDA systems, and NFPA/IFC compliance requirements.
• Experience deploying Private LTE, CBRS, and enterprise wireless systems.
• Experience with 2-Way Radio infrastructure and associated network deployments.
• Strong background in structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure installation.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar project portfolios.
• Proven success achieving project revenue, margin, schedule, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Experience with contract administration, change order management, procurement, subcontractor management, and project controls.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing project delivery organizations.
