Job description
- The .NET Developer will support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using microservices and modularization. The developer will work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#. This role collaborates with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers and reports to the Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- · Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and APIs.
- · Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access patterns.
- · Contribute to modernization of the tolling platform using microservices and modular architecture.
- · Develop new application features and enhance existing functionalities.
- · Participate in performance optimization efforts across application layers.
- · Integrate with Azure-based components and cloud services.
- · Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines.
- · Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint commitments.
Requirements
- · 7+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core and C#.
- · Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- · Experience consuming and integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments.
- · Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
- · Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.
- · Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- · Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks.
- · Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
