• As a Security Officer Power Station Patrol Operations in Aquasco, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
