Responsibilities
- It is not a strategic trade-compliance role and it is not primarily a policy-development or decision-making position.
- This is essentially a Trade Compliance Operations / Compliance Data Analyst role.
- Hiring Manager looking to add additional person on a small compliance team who can take on a high volume of transactional, data-heavy, research-oriented compliance work.
Requirements
- A detail-obsessed analyst with approximately 2-6 years of experience working in a regulated environment who is comfortable spending most of the day reviewing structured data, performing research, maintaining highly accurate records and following established compliance procedures. The candidate should have intermediate Excel skills and some investigative, due-diligence, regulatory, legal or compliance experience. Direct trade compliance, sanctions, restricted-party screening, E2open, Power BI and supply-chain experience are strong advantages but are not mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, trade compliance, legal/regulatory, due diligence, investigations, or another highly regulated environment such as medical devices, pharma, aerospace, or healthcare.
- Strong experience with data management, documentation, recordkeeping, and maintaining highly accurate, traceable compliance records.
- Hands-on investigative / due diligence experience
- Intermediate Excel is mandatory
- Experience with E2open or another restricted-party/sanctions screening platform is preferred
