- Position: Logistics Coordinator
- Location: Cork Office
- Department: Operations
- Reporting to: Managing Director – Cork Office
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support the increasing operational complexity of doTERRA’s expanding local and international markets. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring the timely, efficient, and compliant movement of goods across borders. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of transport, documentation, and customs clearance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor international and local shipments, including ocean, air, and ground freight for both imports and exports;
- Timely apprise internal and external stakeholders with pertinent updates;
- Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of shipping and customs documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit;
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers to track shipments and resolve delays;
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including Incoterms, customs requirements, and import/export laws;
- Schedule and manage delivery timelines, warehouse receipts, and cargo release;
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including references both internal and external, type, size, weight and transit times;
- Manage and monitor HS code classification, Dangerous Goods, product data, customs valuation, and documentation audits;
- Monitor and hold accountable carriers for quality standards, efficiency and suggest improvements where applicable;
- Resolve any logistical issues, such as damages, claims, discrepancies, or customs holds between relevant parties;
- Stay abreast with changes in trade regulations, embargoes, tariffs, and logistical trends;
- Source quotations, rate analysis and provide meaningful reports to management;
- Support other departments such as QA, QC, Engineering and Events with ad-hoc shipments to other markets or venues;
- Liaise with governmental organisations to obtain origin approvals.
Requirements
- undefined Qualifications and ExperienceFluency in Chinese is essential.Minimum 5 years of experience in an Import/Export Logistics role;Experience of EU, Chinese and Global freight requirements and regulations;Proven track record of using SAP;Dangerous Goods (DG) Certification (Air & Sea) is considered a plus;Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve logistics and delivery-related issues effectively;Self-motivated and capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering work with accuracy, diligence, and efficiency.A proactive attitude toward learning and development, with exceptional attention to detail.Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and empathetically while maintaining composure under pressure and in conflict situations.High level of proficiency in business English, both written and verbal.Prior experience and understanding of the Direct Selling industry is considered a strong advantage.
