• Job Title: GoLang Tech Lead
• Location: Tampa, FL - Hybrid

• We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in the Go programming language (Golang) to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our applications and services. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs using Golang.
• • Database Management: Work extensively with PostgreSQL, optimizing queries and ensuring high availability.
• • API Design & Integration: Develop RESTful and gRPC APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
• • Code Quality & Performance: Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code with unit testing and CI/CD integration.
• • Exception Handling , debugging and troubleshooting
• • TypeScript & Frontend Collaboration (Added Advantage): Work closely with frontend teams using TypeScript for seamless API integration.
• • Scalability & Security: Implement best practices for scalability, security, and fault tolerance in a cloud-native environment.
• • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, DevOps, and frontend engineers.
• Role Descriptions: Key responsibilities include leading the design and development of backend services using Go. The tech lead will architect scalable software solutions and mentor engineering teams. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables is essential. The role also involves conducting code reviews and managing project timelines.

Requirements

• • Golang Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Golang development.
• • Database Skills: Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, and optimization.
• • API Development: Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• • Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• • Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• • Testing & Debugging: Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging techniques.
• • Version Control: Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• • Frontend Collaboration (Nice to Have): Exposure to TypeScript, React, or Node.js is a plus.
• Essential Skills: Good to have experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is beneficial. Knowledge of performance tuning and scalability challenges in backend systems is a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices would be advantageous.Must have strong expertise in Go programming and experience in leading software development teams. Proficiency in software architecture and design principles is essential. Familiarity with best practices in code quality and performance optimization is required. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers is also crucial.
