• Senior IT Business Analyst
• Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
• Duration: 8 months
• Seeking for an Senior IT Business Analyst to analyze business needs and support the planning, design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of enterprise applications. This position will serve as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with business units, legal teams, application development teams, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with business requirements, application support, testing/UAT, Azure DevOps, Balsamiq, SQL scripting, and system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed business and system requirements.
• Serve as a primary application and business-process Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Support application production activities, maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate application support activities across business teams, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Develop detailed business requirements, functional documentation, and system documentation.
• Create process flows, wireframes, and mockups to support application requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test-data preparation.
• Participate in application enhancement initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition through implementation and evaluation.
• Manage and track requirements, user stories, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and defects using Azure DevOps.
• Use SQL scripting to support data analysis, validation, testing, troubleshooting, and business data requests.
• Assist business teams with developing user training materials, screenshots, and system guidance.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to appropriate stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships with internal business teams, developers, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience preferred.
• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, system enhancements, and production activities.
• Experience developing test plans and supporting UAT and data preparation.
• Experience working throughout the full system/project lifecycle.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Balsamiq, Azure DevOps, and SQL scripting; 3+ years is highly desired.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to quickly understand stakeholder needs and translate them into clear technical and functional requirements.
